Q. So what am I really discovering…..?

A. Nothing! All I’m doing is helping describe a species that modern science doesn’t already know about it. This species was ‘discovered’ a long time ago.

Who really ‘discovered’ these previously unknown species?

Lesson 2

Q. What is the difference between threatened, endangered, critically endangered and vulnerable?

A. Search it up. Use credible websites.

Lesson 3

Research a threatened, endangered, critically endangered or vulnerable animal. Remember to answer these questions:

                What – is your animal, what are the threats to its survival

                Where – is it native to

                Who – is involved in its conservation, protection etc

                When – was it declared threatened, endangered etc

                Why – has it become threatened, endangered etc.

                How – can it be protected.
